ABOUT US

Halton SC is an open and inclusive Competitive Swimming Club catering for all abilities from those who have just learned to swim right through to those aspiring to compete at National and International competition. 

 

The club provides opportunities for every swimmer to train and compete to the level most appropriate to them as an individual through our  flexible training arrangements available during our weekly club sessions at the brand new Halton Leisure Centre and also a session for senior swimmers at Liverpool Aquatic Centre.​

Halton SC has a full and varied Competition Calendar and participates in Individual and Team based competition at all levels from Junior Invitation Events to National Level competition. We currently have a number of swimmers who have achieved British Championship Qualifying times and who been selected for representative honours at Regional, County and District Level. A number of our swimmers are attending England Talent Camps.

The Club competes in Division 1 of the National Arena League, Division 1 of the Merseyside and District Junior Swimming League and Division A of Microleague for our Junior Swimmers. Our core programme supports entry to and progression through the District, County, Regional and National competition structure whilst the club also makes available a calendar of Licensed Meets at all level for those wishing to improve their times outside that pyramid.
